Judicial process with the goal of obtaining an appointment at AIMA for submission of documents for residence permit.

What is included:

  1. Judicial process
    • Preparation and filing of lawsuit in administrative court.
    • Tracking of case movement, receiving and forwarding of all notifications.
    • Request and obtaining of appointment date at AIMA.
  1. Communication with AIMA regarding appointment
    • Correspondence/calls (clarification of status, confirmation of date).
    • Transfer of official confirmation of date upon receipt and instructions.
  2. Consultation on documents
    • Checklist of documents for submission under Article 92.
    • Verification of completeness and basic verification of content (deadlines, translations, apostilles when necessary).
    • Recommendations for passing interview.

Timeframes:
Average timeframe for appointment: currently approximately 4 months from date of filing of lawsuit; sometimes longer.
Important: timeframes are not guaranteed, because appointment is issued by AIMA, and speed depends on them (sometimes they react to lawsuits quickly, sometimes not, it is impossible to predict this in advance, plus we cannot know what situation will be in future, migration situation in Portugal is worsening).• After issuance — appointment itself is usually scheduled for approximately 2 months ahead.

What is NOT included (if necessary — can be added separately)
Accompaniment on day of submission/interview at AIMA (personal presence of lawyer or interpreter),
• Notarial services, translations, apostilles, legalizations of documents.
• AIMA state fees.
• Registration of NIF, bank account, insurance and similar.
• Additional processes (for example, other grounds for residence permit).

Cost
€500 - fixed for: judicial process + communication with AIMA regarding date + consultation on documents before interview.
• Additional options (accompaniment at submission, interpreter and similar) — upon request, calculated separately.

Required documents from you• Passport.
Declaração de matrícula from professional courses (duration 12+ months).
• Confirmation of address in Portugal.
NIF.
• Any correspondence/screenshots with AIMA or migrant support organizations (if there were any).

How process works — steps

  1. Onboarding: we receive from you documents and payment, confirm grounds under Article 92.
  2. Filing of lawsuit: we form and file in court.
  3. Monitoring: we track movement, respond to court requests.
  4. Appointment of date: usually AIMA sends appointment before court decision (90+% of cases), if after decision — we achieve its execution and appointment of date at AIMA.
  5. Preparation for reception: final verification of package, brief briefing before interview.
  6. Submission at AIMA: you submit documents on appointed day (by desire — we can organize paid accompaniment).

Risks and disclaimers• Timeframes depend on AIMA; delays/postponements on their initiative are possible.• Incomplete/incorrectly prepared package of documents can lead to refusal or repeat visit/postponement of interview date. We minimize risks through verification, but cannot guarantee result of AIMA decision.• If circumstances or legislation change, we will help adjust strategy.
