1. General Conditions

These general conditions apply to all training programs offered by Facultet. The official website and documentation provide up-to-date information on courses, formats, prices, schedules, and terms. Prices and conditions are valid at the time they are published and may change without prior notice.

2. Company Information

Facultet is a registered training provider under the name Disciplinas Imersivas, Lda, with registered office at Rua Campos Junior, 9A–9B, 1070-306 Lisbon, Portugal.

3. Legal Framework

All training agreements are governed by Portuguese law, including:

  • Law no. 23/2007, regarding entry, residence, and exit of foreign citizens
  • Portuguese Civil Code

The student agrees to these conditions upon signing the pre-enrollment or enrollment contract, and these form an integral part of the agreement.

4. Enrollment and Payment

Students must submit the pre-enrollment form, passport copy, and proof of residence. Full payment (or the first installment, if applicable) must be made to secure a spot.

  • Bank transfer (fees to be covered by student)
  • Credit/debit card or MB Way (in person or via link)
  • Stripe (for recurring payments, where applicable)

Tuition fees cover only the training program unless otherwise specified. Course materials, visa support, insurance, and accommodation are billed separately.

5. Course Information

Courses include both online and offline sessions. Upon arrival, students may be required to complete a placement test to assign them to the correct level.

Certificates of completion will be issued only if:

  • Attendance is at least 80%
  • All tuition payments are up to date
  • Final assessments (if any) are completed successfully

Facultet reserves the right to change teachers, training venues, or course schedules when needed, without compensation.

Holidays and national public days are non-teaching days and will not be compensated.

6. Missed Lessons and Refunds

Refund terms are governed by the individual contract signed between the student and Facultet. The applicable conditions — including the non-refundable portion and eligibility criteria — are specified in your agreement.
In all cases:

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 90 calendar days.
After the course start date, no refunds are granted, including for partial attendance or voluntary withdrawal.

For details on the refund conditions applicable to your enrolment, please refer to your signed contract or contact our admissions team.

7. Cancellation by Facultet

If a course does not reach the minimum number of students, Facultet may:

  • Cancel the course and offer a full refund
  • Offer transfer to another course or schedule
  • Convert the course to private or semi-private format (fees may apply)

Any such change will be communicated in advance.

8. Right of Withdrawal (Distance Contracts)

If the contract is signed remotely (email or online), the student has 14 calendar days to withdraw without penalty. If the course has already begun, the refund will be calculated proportionally. This does not apply to contracts signed in person.

9. Complaints and Contact

Facultet provides access to the official Portuguese complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) upon request.
